The number of 5G subscribers in South Korea has reached 260,000


         South Korea is the first country to introduce 5G technology on a commercial scale in early April. According to South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT, the number of 5G subscribers of three telecom companies in the country has reached 260,000.
       The three telecom companies Korea Telecom (KT) has 5G subscribers, while SK Telecom and LGU Plus have not disclosed the number of their subscribers.

    With the advent of 5G technology, its early users have also faced many difficulties. Consumers say they are facing connectivity issues with their first device with 5G, the Galaxy S10 FiG. The ICT ministry says there are now 54,5G base stations in the country Coverage will increase further.

In South Korea, 5G coverage is still limited to areas of the capital, Seoul. Other countries are also preparing to move to the network. Connectivity and many other issues will have been resolved by the time this network is introduced in other countries.
